Der Golem (2014)
An original soundtrack for this silent film classic, originally commissioned by the Detroit Film Theater at Detroit Institute of Arts for Halloween, 2014. Reprised at Toledo Museum of Art for Halloween, 2017.



Canal Music (2013/2015)
Commissioned by Kresge Arts Fellow Leon Johnson, for Art X Detroit, 2015. Adapted from the unperformed large work, Smoke and Mirrors



Anachronism (2011)
Premiered September 9, 2012 at Detroit Institute of Arts as part of a two-hour concert of Peterson's chamber music composed 2010-2012. Added to the archive of contemporary harpsichord music at Foundation Annelie de Man, Netherlands

Grace Harper (2011) 
Sound installation commissioned by the Detroit Institute of Arts and Art Serve of Michigan. Computerized revolving door, mbira parts, steel, mounting tape, iron rods, pressure sensors and assorted electronics. Unveiled June 2011 at Next Energy, Detroit


 
Playing with Fire (2011)
For violin, viola, piano, soprano, children’s choir, glass harmonica and pyrophone. Premiered on July 22, 2011, in the historic firehouse in the Southwest neighborhood of Detroit. Commissioned by 2:1



String Quartet for a Pair of 45s (2010)
Premiered at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit on April 7, 2011 during the inaugural Art X Detroit festival.
